Beginning October 10, 2026, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) will require email or short message service (SMS) verification for Automated Clearinghouse (ACH) refund information changes made in the Automated Commercial Environment Secure Data Portal (ACE Portal). Following this update, authorized ACE Portal users will receive a security token via email, with the option to also receive it via SMS message, when attempting to add or modify ACH refund information within an ACE Portal importer sub-account.
